PURCO SA, on behalf of Boland TVET College, invites all suppliers of accredited and qualified Service Providers to tender for the following services at all campuses of the College.

TENDER 01/2018: Detailed specifications are available in the electronic tender documents.

Briefing Session: A compulsory briefing session will be held on Monday, 18 June at 09h00 in the Boland TVET College Head Office, CONFERENCE ROOM, 85 Bird Street, Stellenbosch.

COMPULSORY SITE INSPECTIONS WILL FOLLOW AS NOTED IN THE TABLE BELOW.

Please take note that site inspections for 2 different infrastructure tenders will run simultaneously.

The tender will be sold for R1,150 on the PURCO SA website (www.purcosa.co.za) and is available from Friday, 8 June 2018 until Wednesday, 20 June 2018 at 16:00.  

  • The information meeting is compulsory. An attendance register will close promptly at the starting time of the meeting and anyone who arrives late will not be allowed to attend.

  • Compulsory site inspections will be held on the above dates and times at the respective campuses. Please take note that the tender documents will not be available at these sessions. The certificate of attendance to each site inspection will only be signed by the designated Boland College representative at the official sessions and must be submitted with tender documents.

  • It is requested that the person who is to complete the tender document, be present during the information session so as to get the relevant information pertaining to the completion of the tender document.

  • Bidders can bid on individual site(s) or all sites. Site inspections for the campuses tendered on are therefore compulsory.

  • The lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted.

  • Tender Documents must be completed in BLACK INK. Incomplete tender documentation will not be accepted.

  2. Functionality evaluation

Service Providers will be assessed in terms of building maintenance, electrical and plumbing experience in a similar environment, financial stability, operational capacity, quality management standards, etc.

This tender will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 B-BBEE preference point scoring system.

Responsiveness and bid evaluation criteria will be strictly adhered to.

Boland TVET College is not bound to accept the highest point scorer, lowest bid, part or any bid.
Incomplete, late, faxed or bids via e-mail, telegraph, telephone and telex will not be accepted.
