THE ABOVE ADVERT THAT WAS PUBLISHED ON THE 11TH NOVEMBER 2018 IN THE SUNDAY TIMES, 13TH NOVEMBER IN ISOLEZWE AND 15TH NOVEMBER 2018 IN ILANGA, IS HEREBY WITHDRAWN AND REPLACED WITH BELOW ADVERT WHICH ALSO INCLUDES THE CANCELLATION OF RFP 25/17, RFP 01/18 AND RFP 08/18

NB: BIDDERS WHO HAVE ALREADY PUCHASED BID DOCUMENTS FOR RFP20/18 AND HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED THE COMPULSORY BRIEFING SESSION NEED NOT TO PURCHASE NEW DOCUMENTS AND DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND THE BELOW BRIEIFNG SESSION. BIDDERS SHOULD-TAKE NOTE THAT THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS BID HAS BEEN EXTENDED FROM 10 DECEMBER 2018 TO 18 JANUARY 2019 AT 14H00.

EVALUATION METHOD FOR BID RFP 20/18 WILL COMPRISE OF THREE (03) STAGES OF EVALUATION: stage One (01) - Administrative compliance (Only Bidders with a B-BBEE status of Level 1 contributor are eligible to submit a bid) stage Two (02)-functionality. Functionality for points allocation will be evaluated and scored out of 100 points. Bidders should score a minimum of 70% (70 points) in order to be considered for further evaluation and stage Three (03) will be price + B-BBEE (80/20).

The physical address for collection of tender document is: Ithala Development Finance Corporation Limited; 29 Signal Road (for GPS use 29 Signal Road), Point Waterfront, Durban.

Bid documents will be available from Monday, 03 December 2018 to Friday 07 December 2018 during office hours between 09h00 to 16h00; once a non-refundable fee of R300.00 has been paid into the Ithala Corporate Finance Account, namely ABSA, Branch Code 634/926, Account Number 4052677334, Reference No: RFP 20/18 and the name of the bidder. NB no tender documents will be sold after 16h00 on Friday, 07 December 2018.

Submission: The proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes delivered at Ithala, 29 Signal Road (GPS use 29 Signal Road), Point, Durban and should be deposited in the box (labelled tenders) located at the reception. The closing time for receipt of tenders is Friday, 18 January 2019 at 14h00. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted. It is important to note that all bids lodged will be examined to determine compliance with the bidding requirements and conditions. Bid with obvious deviation from the requirements, will be eliminated.
