Bids are hereby invited from capable and experienced service providers to verify authencity on educational qualifications for all levels of employees as per SAQA requirements.

The City of Mbombela in response to the threats posed by the Covid-19 Pandemic is using an online web-based secure Tender Management Platform (TMP). The TMP will enable bidders to tender their bid submissions online in a secure environment. The TMP provides universal access to all registered bidders to upload their bids into the system without traveling to the offices of the municipality. The TMP has data security and enables probity for audit purposes.
The TMP enables easy access to bid documents, briefing notes, supports an efficient and controlled clarification (Q&A) processes and enables a secure and confidential bid submission process for each registered bidder.
A highly experienced, and knowledgeable client success (CS) team is available to help bidders utilise the TMP. Visit the City’s website for more information regarding the TMP.
The municipality will continue to advertise its bid notices in the National eTender Portal and Municipal website, but the tender documents can ONLY be downloaded from the TMP by registered bidders.
It is compulsory for all interested bidders to download a Bid Registration Form in order to access the TMP. The Bid Registration Form is available on the City’s website: www.mbombela.gov.za in the Tenders and Notices folder. The Bid Registration Form must be completed (preferably typed) and emailed to the following email address: email@example.com for registration.
PLEASE ENSURE ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT AND, IF HAND WRITTEN, ARE CLEAR AND LEGIBLE TO AVOID DELAYS IN THE BIDDER REGISTRATION PROCESS.
The registration will start from 11 December 2020 until 25 January 2021 @ 16:00. No bidder registration will be entertained after the closing date and time for registration. Bidders who fail to register within the registration period will not be eligible to access or submit their respective tender documents on the TMP.
Bidders will thereafter receive an email from the firstname.lastname@example.org with instructions to log in and verify their details. Bidders that do not receive this confirmation email within 24 hours of sending the bidder registration email request must forward a copy of the original email request to email@example.com.
All bid responses must be submitted electronically via the TMP before the Bid Closing date. The TMP will automatically close and not accept any submission after the bid closing date and time.
The TMP provides a locked box submission tool maintaining security and confidentiality for bidder.
Bidders are encouraged to submit their bid responses as from 11 December 2020 to allow for the Client Support (CS) team to assist with any challenges.
The CS team are available 24/7 online, by email, or by calling a local South Africa telephone number. These details will be included in the welcome email received by each registered bidder.
NB!!! Only bids submitted electronically via the TMP will be accepted and NO bids received by telegram, fax, e-mail, or bids physically delivered will be considered. Late bids shall NOT be considered.
No briefing session shall be conducted for this tender. Technical enquiries may be directed to the Project Manager through the Q&A engine on the TMP. All questions and answers will be transparent to all bidders on that respective bid to ensure fairness and equity.
A preferential point system shall apply whereby this contract will be allocated to a bidder in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, No 5 of 2000 and as defined in the conditions of bid in the bid document, read in conjunction with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017, where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points in respect of B-BBEE status level of contribution.
